I've been wondering about boosts and timing over the last month. Do the people who choose what to boost (not the nominators) have a quota for each month? Do we know? I was thinking about institutional budgets and council spending and wondering if it was analogous. If there are quotas then we might expect to see a bit more boosting at the start of the month when they have lots of boosts to play with, a dip in the middle when they start to run low, then a flurry at the end to use them up. But maybe they don't have limits to their boosting, I don't know how opaque the process is for nominators, so maybe this is all really off the mark, but it was a thought I had that I thought I would share.
