This was a really interesting article to read. I wrote my PhD on the grammar and development of Cameroon Pidgin, but as a white, British person I don't have a cultural connection to the language - just a deep interest. The way you wrote this article really illustrates the ways in which culture, history, and community are woven into both Krio and Black British English in a way that is tangible to a reader who speaks neither.
